A wetland subject documented through landscape and ecology.

This page follows the public competition record. It does not add an undocumented artist recollection or infer details about photographs that are not reproduced here.

The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society described the city's fishponds as both a distinctive landscape and a biologically rich wetland habitat. Its competition invited photographers to help more people see and understand that environment.

Fishpond Harvest records labour within that landscape: workers, waterproof clothing, nets and water share the frame. The official result places the photograph in the student landscape category.
